New South Wales Police have located the body of a five-year-old boy, after being trapped inside a car submerged in floodwaters in western NSW.
Police divers located the boy’s body in the car yesterday afternoon and authorities were called to McGrane Way near Tullamore, where a late night salvage operation took place on Friday night.
Four other people were rescued and taken to Dubbo Hospital, including a man in his 30’s, a woman in her 20’s, and two children.
The car has since been retrieved, and an investigation into the incident is underway.
